Always Use the Manufacturer’s Specifications

Double-Check the Hoses Whenever You Service Your Hydraulic System

Don’t Neglect the Filters
Here comes the big problem. With filters, changing them to early is expensive as well as changing them to late. Changing filters early means you are not maximizing their usability. Late changing causes dust to accumulate in the oil, incapacitating (slow by slow) the other components.
A cost-effective option is to install a clogging indicator to alert you when the filters are exhausted. Better still, you can keep a constant check on the pressure drop from the filter. These should tell you on when to change the filters.
